Safeguarding

The club has its own Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy and we follow guidelines and procedures adopted from England Lacrosse (the National Governing Body).

DBS checks are a mandatory requirement for all our coaches and captains alongside a signed commitment to uphold the club’s Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy and the club’s Code of Conduct. All players, coaches and volunteers are expected to follow the guidelines as set by the club’s policies, the England Lacrosse Code of Conduct, and the England Lacrosse Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.

Oxford City Lacrosse Club acknowledges its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all members involved in the club, but especially children and vulnerable adults, and protect them from harm at all times.
