Mixed Teams

Welcome to the most fun you can have on a Saturday afternoon!

This team is for those who have had less experience in a formal lacrosse environment, we mix up the teams each weekend so we have a wide range of abilities to keep the match fun, and create strong links across the club.

We have one semi-competitive team which plays in the England Lacrosse Mixed League (fixtures here), and we train intermittently on Oxford Academy 3G (map) Fridays 7pm – 8pm. Please contact us for further details.

Frequently asked questions

We hold trainings at Oxford Academy, on the astroturf (footwear = trainers), on Monday nights.

Juniors 6.30pm-7.30pm, Seniors 7.30pm – 9pm

If you are aged 15 or under, please come to a junior session to begin with where our friendly junior coaches will introduce you to the club, and advise the senior captains whether they believe you are ready to train with the seniors.

Children aged 14 and older may train with the seniors, however we must make a careful assessment of your abilities.

Absolutely!

We have many players who have also returned to the game after breaks, both long and short, and you are more than welcome to pick up a stick again with us. Please give us a message if you need more information.

Not at all, we have many complete beginners of all ages who have never even seen the game. We have professional coaches who are extremely experienced in teaching the skills required in a fun and friendly environment.

You do not need any lacrosse equipment (we will provide this), just a mouth-guard and appropriate sports clothes. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions too!

At the moment, due to the pandemic and the changes to sport guidelines, we are charging per session via our contactless card reader.

Junior session – £7.00

Senior session – £9.00

Family pack (1 senior, 1 junior) – £14.00
